The new reference material BAM-P115 is a porous titanium dioxide (anatase) and certified as successor material of the CRM BAM-P106 for gas adsorption. The material is used for the determination of specific surface area (BET), specific pore volume, hydraulic pore diameter and BJH most frequent pore diameters from the desorption and the adsorption branch of the nitrogen isotherm determined by the static volumetric method based on the International Standards ISO 9277:2010 and ISO 15901-2:2006.

The certification was realised in an international inter-laboratory comparison. The reference material is supplied as granular material in 30 mL glass bottles of 12 g each. It can be used for routine quality performance checks or validation studies.
